Key Responsibilities as a Head Chef

• Lead our kitchen to deliver exceptional culinary creations that align with the vision and food concept of Holmen Lofoten 
• Manage all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations 
• Develop dishes and menus that embrace local and seasonal ingredients, foraged, gathered or farmed (alternating 5-7 course set menus), including storytelling as an important part of our concept
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless kitchen and restaurant operations and excellent customer satisfaction 
• Be an active part in the management team
• Assist the rest of the Holmen Lofoten team if needed

Qualifications Required

• Documented experience as a Head Chef  
• Strong knowledge of diverse culinary techniques 
• The ability to work under pressure 
• Confident working in an open kitchen
• Maintaining high food quality and safety standards
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit 
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
