Position Overview

The waitstaff role at Holmen Lofoten is crucial in providing guests with a sence of place,  a memorable experience along with the story of the food and the local history. As waitstaff at Holmen, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving our food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner upon their arrival
• Communicate and collaborate closely with the kitchen staff 
• Serve food and drinks promptly and follow up with guest satisfaction 
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas throughout service
• Provide assistance and answer queries about menu items and specials 
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service
• Assist the rest of the team if needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a waitstaff or customer service role
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable apperance
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Self motivated and independent thinking
